    La Divisa - Natural Geisha

A naturally processed geisha from La Divisa, a high-elevation coffee farm in Quindío, Colombia. Nestled in the misty hills outside Pijao, the farm combines precision agronomy with a spirit of experimentation that defines Colombia’s modern coffee movement. Sebastián cultivates a range of exotic varieties, but his EF2 natural processed Gesha truly stood out on the cupping table this year.

This drip bag release is about precision without complexity. A carefully processed coffee, brewed simply, anywhere.

In the cup, it shows a wild and bold  expression of the Geisha variety: presenting the floral characteristics and elegant mouthfeel of the Geisha - powered by the intensity and tropical aromas of the heavy fermentation.

We chose this coffee specifically for the drip bag format because it holds its structure even in a simple brew, allowing nuance to come through without equipment or adjustment.

    EF2 Natural Process

The sorted cherries undergo a dry aerobic fermentation process for 24 hours. During this initial phase, natural microorganisms start breaking down the sugars in the mucilage, unlocking the coffee’s flavor potential. Following this, the cherries are transferred into GrainPro bags for 50 hours of anaerobic fermentation, carefully maintained at temperatures below 22°C to ensure optimal conditions.

    • 1. Open

Tear open the sachet and remove the drip bag.

    • 2. Set

Pull out the paper arms and secure the drip bag on a tall cup so the filter sits centered and stable.

    • 3. Open

Slowly pour hot water to the top edge of the filter (≈ 90 ml).

Wait 40 seconds, then pour again to the top (another ≈ 90 ml).

    • 4. Enjoy

When the water has fully drawn through the coffee (around 2:30 total), remove and discard the drip bag.
